Kansas City International Airport (IATA: MCI), originally named Mid-Continent International Airport, is a public airport located 15 miles (24 km) northwest of the central business district of Kansas City, in Platte County, Missouri, United States.

Kansas City International Airport covers an area of 10,200 acres (4,128 ha) which contains three runways.

It consists of three Terminals with an overall number of 90 gates: Terminal A (gates A1-A30, of which some are currently out of use), Terminal B (gates B31-B60) and Terminal C (gates C61-C90).
